Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing various types of heavy equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our machinery operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues with machinery.
Execute equipment repair tasks, ensuring all work aligns with OEM specifications.
Repair and maintain diesel engines, focusing on performance optimization and reliability.
Troubleshoot air brake systems and other hydraulic components as needed.
Utilize power tools effectively for disassembly, assembly, and repair tasks.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on heavy equipment repair.
Proficiency in automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues accurately.
Experience in diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
Familiarity with OEM standards and practices for equipment maintenance.
Ability to align various components during repairs for optimal performance.
Competence in using power tools safely and effectively in a workshop environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to transmit technical information clearly to team members.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
