I'm a leased operator with 3 trucks with Cliff Viessman, Inc. The job is pulling a foodgrade Tanker nationwide and Canada, so you will need a tanker endorsement. We do some regional work as well. Will be required to unload truck with hydraulic PTO driven pump from rear of trailer. Also to vent trailer prior to unloading you'll have to climb a ladder to the top of it. Typically out and back with loads so you'll be back to Wahpeton before your 8 days is up so you can do your reset at home. I'm reallly flexible on home time as well. Free health insurance for the driver after 60 days of employment with Blue Cross, family is available for and extra fee. I would prefer a non-smoker as all of our customers are smoke free facilities. Also no pets do to foodgrade regulations. The job pays $1 a loaded mile so if you come back empty from a load its .50 cents a running mile. I'm typically loaded though 70% of the time so you'll easily average .65 to .75 on any given month. I pay drivers $25 an hour for detention after the first 2 hours and if for some reason you had to take a 34 reset on the road I'll pay you $150 for the day. I also do a safety/christmas bonus of 1% of the gross profit of the truck which accounts for close to $2,500. I run late model Mack trucks and spare no expense to keep them maintained. We have a heated shop to leave the truck you will be driving in when you're home and when you're on the road you can leave your vehicle in there. I'm an easy going guy but I'm expecting a highly motivated driver with a great driving record that is focused on safety. If you don't have any tanker experience be willing to learn and I will personally mentor you. I have 21 years experience pulling these trailers and I have a few tricks to make the job easier.
