Administrative Assistant

Description We are in search of an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Akron, Ohio. The individual in this role will be tasked with a variety of administrative tasks, including managing phone lines, maintaining the front desk, and providing support to our executive team. This position will provide an opportunity to work in a business casual environment and contribute to the smooth functioning of our operations.Responsibilities: Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist customers and address inquiries Oversee the front desk, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for visitors Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings for the executive team Manage email correspondence effectively and professionally Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) to create presentations and manage data Oversee the distribution of mail, receiving packages, and sending out mail as needed Manage office supplies, ensuring adequate stock and timely ordering of new supplies Assist in preparing and sending out seasonal communications, such as Christmas cards Maintain accurate records and files to ensure efficient information management Perform copying tasks as required, ensuring all materials are prepared and organized for meetings or presentations. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls Ability to manage email correspondence effectively and professionally Capability to schedule appointments accurately and efficiently Familiarity with mail distribution procedures within an office setting Experience or ability to learn how to order office supplies as needed Proficiency in answering inbound calls promptly and professionally Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively Professional demeanor and positive attitude High school diploma or equivalent educational level Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not mandatory Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments.
