Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Solution Architect based in Akron, Ohio. The successful candidate will be a key player in our team, converting business and clinical requirements into a comprehensive software and data architecture. This role involves providing technology services, data management, analysis, and systems that enhance self-service reporting, analytics, and decision support capabilities within various business areas.Responsibilities: Converting business and clinical requirements into a comprehensive software and data architecture. Providing technology services, data management, and analysis to various business areas. Developing high-level approaches to solutions and services necessary for project success. Liaising between business and/or project teams and IT resources to enable solutions for business or clinical needs. Understanding business process requirements, gathering reporting needs from senior leaders, and conducting detailed scoping and analysis for the development and maintenance of a reporting repository. Designing solutions for our Health system with internal applications and design custom reports using visualization tools. Implementing projects using agile methodologies, particularly the Kanban framework / DevOps. Designing solutions for SQL Server Data warehouses, including data marts supporting various systems. Troubleshooting integration problems, optimizing data imports and exports, and creating customized Tableau / PowerBI dashboards for actionable insights. Engaging in SQL programming, data mining, analytical functions, and working on report release, production deployment, break-fix, and support activities. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role Strong knowledge and practical experience with SQL, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Active Directory Proficiency in SSAS, PL/SQL, Epic Software, Epic System, Python, CSS, Perl, C# - Sharp, Java, .NET, XML, HTML, and SAS Ability to develop, implement, and oversee information systems Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required Knowledge of industry trends and new technologies is essential Proven experience in designing and implementing software solutions is preferred.
