Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Systems Administrator, positioned in Akron, Ohio. This role is pivotal in a technology-driven environment, where you will be responsible for managing SharePoint and Active Directory operations. The role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity and requires on-site presence initially, transitioning to a hybrid model subsequently. Responsibilities: Implement and manage SharePoint systems within the organization. Work on Active Directory tasks such as user management, group policy configurations, and security settings. Write, maintain, and debug codes for seamless system operations. Collaborate with various departments within the organization to ensure system functionality and efficiency. Convert internal applications to SharePoint for on-premises usage and hybrid cloud implementations. Administer cloud systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on the findings. Efficiently process customer credit applications. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Resolve customer inquiries with a high level of professionalism and effectiveness. Requirements Proficiency in Active Directory is essential. Prior experience with SharePoint is required. Experience with Cloud implementations is mandatory. Demonstrable skills in Cloud administration are necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is needed. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are vital. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively is necessary. Familiarity with network architecture and client-server technology is beneficial. Strong knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues is beneficial. Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis is required.
