Ameriseal of Ohio, Inc. is the manufacturer and applicator of Grip-Flex and we are based out of Smithville, Ohio. It is a micro-surfacing product installed on airport pavements with its own FAA Specification. We also install our product on government and privately-funded airport properties. The job requires travel out of state with a crew, periods of time away range anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months.
Preliminary daily tasks related to pavement rehabilitation are paint removal, crack repair, edging, and general cleaning. Once prep work is complete we apply a spray seal as a primer. We then resurface the pavement that provides the airport with a long-lasting black surface. You may be on your feet for extended periods of time during working hours. While working on the road you will stay in your own paid for hotel room, travel in company provided trucks, and receive $25.00 each day for food expenses.
When you are not working on the road every employee works a 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday, at the shop in Smithville. There is always room to grow for those who excel in the trade. Mechanical knowledge is appreciated, but the willingness to work hard and learn new things will never be undervalued. Ameriseal of Ohio, Inc. also provides an excellent health care package at no cost to you. Raises are based on knowledge and performance. Must have a fairly clean driving record to be insured.
