Job Description SummaryWe're looking for PhD students who are active in AI/ML areas and are passionate about developing next generation AI technologies that will have profound impact on medicine and healthcare. You will be working with top researchers and domain experts in the field of AI for health to develop new deep learning (e.g., vision foundational models, large language model) solutions and to prepare research publications for leading AI venues. Research on one or more key topics within our AI for medicine and healthcare research agenda.

Prepare research publications.

Designing new AI algorithms to find predictive patterns that combine heterogeneous data assets to solve real-world medical and healthcare problem.

Implementing deep learning, machine learning, and data mining algorithms on distributed platform

Qualifications:Our ideal candidate will have:

Currently enrolled in a PhD degree in computer science or related areas.

Experience in one area of computer science (e.g., Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization), with publications in NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, KDD, CVPR, EMNLP, ACL.

Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C/C, etc.) In depth experience with PyTorch.

Experience creating production environment data analytics and applications.

(preferred) extensive experience with handling nosiy real world medical and patient data.
