As part of the brand design team, we’re seeking a Design Director to not only ideate and develop strategies but a creative individual who can envision the possibilities and execute bringing those ideas to life making them a reality. What will I do? Distill marketing challenges and business objectives into fused creative briefs. Brainstorm, concept, execute brand imagery with a high level of focus on packaging. Expert hands-on skills are a must. Understand human behavior and create design solutions that meet business challenges and solve real consumer problems. Provide and deliver empowered design leadership including brand vision, design strategy, and execution on a global brand. Problem-solve obstacles or challenges to keep design work on track, including limited development time. Work with project and brand managers to ensure timelines, budget allocations can meet project scope. Deliver creative brand solutions across touch points. Specifically, you will partner within a multi-functional team of future forward brand strategist & thinkers looking to build momentum with consumers. Manage internal and external design partners as well as deliver hands-on creative. Job Qualifications 10+ years of experience in branding, packaging design, POS retail and displays, digital experience. Degree in Design (Graphics focus) and experience in related field. Strong sense of design principles and systems, aesthetics, typography, color. Hands on expert level on all current graphic design software programs – Photoshop, Adobe creative suite, etc. Experience in print production and creating ready for print mechanicals skills a plus. Hands on experience with Powerpoint and Keynote, and MS Office Suite presentation software programs. We believe you will be an excellent fit here if you have: Past success in working with complex brands with a large portfolio of global SKUs and leading initiatives, the brand equity, visual style guides, etc. Strong communication and social skills including both written and presentation. Ability to present to, interact with, and influence key decision makers across functional and regional boundaries. Ability to translate design trends and consumer insights into action is a key business value. High energy and success in partnering with cross functional (internal and external) teams across dispersed locations on end-to-end design from concept to implementation. The ability to give visual direction and creatively inspire others. Agility and ability to successfully navigate change and ambiguity both in business and organization is imperative in this role. Operate with discipline with the ability to manage multiple priorities and high capacity for work. The desire to be a self-starter, able to drive projects with minimal supervision, engaging leadership within corporate parameters. Investments will be made to allow the Leader to realize the following goals: Develop strategic, innovative models of care across the entire CCHMC mental and behavioral health systems Build systems of behavioral and mental health care in collaboration with the Cincinnati Community that ensures all care providers are trained and deliver evidence-based care. Reduce the need for inpatient psychiatric bed utilization by increasing access to behavioral and mental health early in the development of psychological/psychiatric disorders. Develop efficient and effective processes to optimize inpatient psychiatric bed utilization through a combination of prevention, diversion, evidence based inpatient care, and appropriate discharge planning and execution. Sustain an impactful portfolio of externally funded research in behavioral and mental health including innovative research in anxiety, depression, and mood disorders on both the patient and population level. Advocate holistically to government and other officials on behalf of patients and CCHMC to advance the infrastructure necessary to optimize the behavioral and mental health of children and adolescents.
