What we offer
By joining Datavant today, you're stepping onto a highly collaborative, remote-first team that is passionate about creating transformative change in healthcare. We hire for three traits: we want people who are smart, nice, and get things done. We invest in our people and believe in hiring for high-potential and humble individuals who can rapidly grow their responsibilities as the company scales. Datavant is a distributed, remote-first team, and we empower Datavanters to shape their working environment in a way that suits their needs.
What we need
We are hiring responsible, trustworthy individuals to join the Ciox team for a specialized, part-time role as a Chart Retrieval Specialist.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do
Following your successful completion of a paid training program, you will be assigned to a support team in your geographic area. Each week, you will receive a list of appointments at local Healthcare Facilities. You will arrive at scheduled times and scan/upload the assigned medical records using Datavant equipment and processes.
Datavant pays hourly for the time you spend retrieving charts and for time spent driving between sites. Competitive mileage reimbursements are also available in addition to performance-based merit incentives that offer the chance to earn additional money each week.
Most Chart Retrieval Specialists work an average of 20-25 hours each week offering you the chance to balance work with the other priorities in your life. During the busier months (May-September), you may have the opportunity to increase appointments and your hours.
Given the nature of this work in a field-based role, new Chart Retrieval Specialists find the most success when they maintain frequent communication with their regional support team. Retrieving medical charts does require a certain measure of technical skills, but those who remain open to new experiences and flexible in learning new processes will have opportunities for growth and development that could lead to advancement.
