Description We are offering a short term, part time, contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is in the accounting industry and will involve handling various tasks related to account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and other related duties. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications Maintain and update customer credit records regularly Efficiently handle account reconciliation tasks Manage accounts payable and receivable Handle billing duties and ensure accuracy in all transactions Utilize Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks for various accounting tasks Process invoices accurately and efficiently Use Excel formulas for complex calculations Apply knowledge of grant accounting in relevant tasks Conduct data entry tasks as needed.Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation procedures Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes Familiarity with billing systems and procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Excel formulas Knowledge of QuickBooks software Familiarity with grant accounting practices Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good oral and written communication skills Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information A degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
