Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst with expertise in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and related tools to join our dynamic and fast-paced finance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting financial planning, analysis, reporting, and consolidation efforts across the organization. You will leverage your advanced knowledge of Hyperion to enhance decision-making processes and improve reporting accuracy while ensuring compliance with global consolidation standards.Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and analyze financial results, forecasts, and budgets using Hyperion and Excel.
Perform detailed variance analysis (forecast vs. actual results) and identify key drivers impacting business performance.
Support cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, profitability trends, sales reporting, and heavy manufacturing analysis.
Hyperion Financial Management (HFM):
Manage the HFM consolidation process for global entities, including journal entries, reclassifications, and adjustments to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Create and maintain financial templates, reports, and dashboards in SmartView integrated with Hyperion.
Handle tasks such as data copyovers, intercompany eliminations, and reconciling consolidated financial data.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Partner with department leaders to develop and manage budgets and rolling forecasts.
Improve financial planning processes, leveraging Hyperion capabilities to drive efficiency.
Reconcile actual results with forecasts and budgets to provide actionable insights.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement enhancements to financial systems and reporting tools.
Automate recurring processes to increase productivity and ensure data consistency.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, and other departments to provide financial insights and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Serve as a right-hand to senior management to support leadership decisions and strategic initiatives during month-end and quarter-end cycles.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
A CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a global manufacturing or heavy industry context.
Expertise in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and SmartView is required.
Proven experience handling consolidation processes for multiple entities across global regions.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in HFM, SmartView, and related reporting tools.
Strong skills in Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization).
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner with stakeholders across levels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
