Breadsmith is an artisan bakery in the Hyde Park Square. We make fresh bread and sweets daily.
Here is what we are looking for-
Jobs include (but not limited to):
- Processing customer transactions (cash register, slicing/bagging products, handling customer orders)
- Opening/closing the store (icing products in the morning, brewing coffee, sweeping and mopping at end of day, etc.)
- Generalized cleaning (as needed, usually requested by management, done during downtime)
- Dishes (cleaning pans, utensils, ect.)
- Prepping for markets (bagging scones and muffins for sale at farmer's markets)
- Scooping (with a disher) products for future production
The store is open 8am -5pm Tuesday-Friday, 7am-4pm Saturdays, and 8am-2 pm Sundays. Shifts start/end within an hour of each side of that window.
Pay: $13+ per hour(depending on experience) and free bread every shift!

We are currently looking for a weekend only person (both Saturday and Sunday) and a Floating Day shift person (3-4 shifts a week including Saturday and Sunday)
