Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing pest infestations to ensure a safe and pest-free environment for our clients. This role involves conducting inspections, implementing pest control measures, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations.
- Develop and implement effective pest control treatment plans based on the findings of inspections.
- Apply pesticides and other pest management products in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of pest control measures, making adjustments as necessary.
- Educate clients on preventive measures and best practices to maintain a pest-free environment.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, including treatment plans, materials used, and follow-up visits.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on the latest pest control methods, products, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in pest control is a plus.
- Valid pest control license as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience as a pest control technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of pest control methods, products, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina and the ability to handle various environmental conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
