The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing work orders, maintenance repairs, performing preventative maintenance throughout the properties, light plumbing, light electric work, patch and painting and occasional exterior work, possible ladder work. We are looking for someone with dependable transportation (preferably a truck) who can provide quality customer care and services to existing and prospective residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technician will be responsible for completing work orders, which could include: small plumbing repairs or replacements, lighting repairs or replacement, diagnosing / repairing / installing oven range, refrigerators, dishwasher and disposals, repair / install flooring (ceramic or click flooring or carpet), repair or replacement of cabinetry and vanities, concrete work…
Technician will be responsible for preventive maintenance projects.
Technician will be on a rotating schedule to cover evenings and weekend Emergencies (bonus pay as applicable).
Technician will need to responsibly care for and maintain all properties under company management in a safe and clean manner.
Technician will occasionally be asked to assist with the “Turn” of a vacant property for a new tenant.
Ability to inspect and repair roof a plus
Ability to inspect HVAC Equipment a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Have dependable transportation
1-2 Years Experience in Maintenance
Must Pass Background Screening
