Remote Project Manager (AutoCAD + Retail Projects)Job Description:We are looking for an architectural project manager to join our growing retail firm!Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversite of the project team

Work on multiple projects

Participation in the design process

Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings

Development of schematic design, design development, and construction documents

Review architectural drawings for federal, state, and local code compliance

Coordination of the project team’s work

Monitor the progress of all construction phases

Manage correspondence with clients, vendors, consultants, etc.

Responsible for project schedule and budget

Build and maintain client relations

Assist with construction administration

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5+ years of architectural drafting experience

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for development of the project scope and fee quotation and assists in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with DLZ\'s practices. Participates in client contract scoping and negotiations. Serves as a client liaison and manages the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client\'s satisfaction. Leads client contract scoping and negotiations. Supports and fosters growth and professional development of less experienced group of bridge and structural engineers. Helps ensure staff development, mentoring and training needs are being met. Collaborates with other departments or groups within the office on work-sharing needs and opportunities. Supports the implementation of the firm\'s project delivery and contracting activities including scope, work plan and fee reviews. Supports the project delivery process including Work Planning, Monthly Project Reviews, and other project performance methods to ensure quality work, on time and on schedule. Position is primarily for bridge project management, although periodic bridge inspections are a part of the position as needed.
