Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm
FLSA: Nonexempt
The general custodian will be responsible for completing the following job duties:
Complete assigned custodial responsibilities in a commercial cleaning account.
Responsible for completing all tasks assigned in the specified allotted time and for ensuring a high level of quality in all tasks performed.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
Clean, dust, and wipe furniture.
Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; empty and clean ash trays and cigarette urns. Handle recycling materials.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs and sanitizes bathrooms.
Refill restroom dispensers.
Operate a power vacuum.
Must select proper chemicals, control dilution ratios and use proper techniques for the area cleaned.
Follow all manufacturers recommendations for use of all cleaning solutions.
Properly stock cart.
Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc.
Follow all instructions of the Account Manager.
Follow the daily job routine in the order it is outlined.
Use the correct step-by-step procedures for each cleaning task.
Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment.
Inform the Account Manager of any equipment malfunctions or unusual occurrences on the job.
Ensure a level of cleanliness which meets the quality expectations of the customer.
Maintain all equipment, supplies, and supply rooms in an orderly fashion.
Regular attendance.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a positive manner that gets along with customers, vendors, program participants, co-workers and supervisors.
Responsible for following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications
Must be able to pass background checks as required by site.
Previous custodial experience preferred.

DLZ Corporation currently has a Bridge Project Manager opportunity in Columbus, Ohio, Cleveland, Ohio or Lexington, Kentucky.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for development of the project scope and fee quotation and assists in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with DLZ\'s practices. Participates in client contract scoping and negotiations.
Serves as a client liaison and manages the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client\'s satisfaction. Leads client contract scoping and negotiations.
Supports and fosters growth and professional development of less experienced group of bridge and structural engineers. Helps ensure staff development, mentoring and training needs are being met.
Collaborates with other departments or groups within the office on work-sharing needs and opportunities.
Supports the implementation of the firm\'s project delivery and contracting activities including scope, work plan and fee reviews.
Supports the project delivery process including Work Planning, Monthly Project Reviews, and other project performance methods to ensure quality work, on time and on schedule.
Assists in marketing responsibilities, including client discovery, technical proposal generation, interviews, and win-to-work activities.
Maintains client contacts to ensure client satisfaction. Leads and assists in sales and marketing efforts for department\'s growth.
Helps recruit, hires, develops, and retains department staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.
Manages assigned project activities (project scope, schedule, budget and DLZ quality management) and performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specifications, and plan preparation.
Additional efforts to support the Bridge Group as coordinated with the Division Manager.
BRIDGE ENGINEERING:
Perform as Lead Engineer for the review of ODOT Level 1 and Level 2 Bridge Project deliverables, adhering to current ODOT Design Criteria.
Mentoring of Junior Engineer\'s design calculations, plans and other milestone deliverables.
Bridge condition inspection, ODOT Level 1. Level 2 a plus. Position is primarily for bridge project management, although periodic bridge inspections are a part of the position as needed.
Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of reports, technical feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering studies focused on bridges.
Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.
Perform other associated duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering with 7 years of practical bridge design experience.
Practical experience with ODOT or KYTC a plus.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification in Ohio and or Kentucky.
Disciplined in following through on quality control on all elements of work.
Supervisory experience is a plus.
