Sr Financial Systems Analyst


Requirements:
Responsible for accounting and related auditing duties. Heavily involved in the month-end and year-end accounting processes and functions as a power user for the financial systems. Responsible for reviewing workflow to evaluate effectiveness, recommending changes to improve productivity, and interacting with staff to analyze existing operational procedures and interpret how operational effectiveness can be achieved. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

  • • Excellent people skills, "Customer Focus" attitude, and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • • Ability to work in cooperation with other team members to achieve the Cleveland State University (CSU) goals and objectives.
  • • Ability to take ownership of projects, anticipate department needs and develop appropriate responses, meet deadlines, attention to detail, have strong analytical skills, and be a quick and continuous learner.
  • • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and respond to changing circumstances.
  • • Skilled with technology, including learning recent technology and other database reporting tools.
  • • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel (advanced knowledge), Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
