An Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, who can ensure the highest level of service is maintained, and member expectations are met and exceeded, is needed in Pepper Pike. This position requires full-time, flexible hours; must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Duties:
Supervise all service staff to help ensure proper service standards are met
Monitor service and food quality during all service times
Make sure all dining rooms opening and closing duties, pre-event, and post-event procedures have been completed
Maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimize service, sales growth, and customer satisfaction
Assist with the maintaining inventory of all service items, linen program, and beverages
Greet and seat members and guests and ensure all staff uniforms are clean
Handle member and guest complaints in a professional manner
Recruit, hire, terminate, performance evaluation, and management of all Food and Beverage Staff
Maintain service standards while observing and making recommendations to improve service
Set clear and concise expectations for every team member
Follow and enforce all rules, policies, and procedures
Full-time, flexible hours are required; must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have a minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant; Country Club experience is preferred
A 4 year Hospitality Degree or equivalent is preferred
Initiative, creativity, self-motivation, and discipline are required
Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to bend, push, pull, and lift 30 pounds
Must be able to adapt to change that would improve work efficiency, member service, and staff engagement
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and website functions
Must be able to promote and maintain a positive working relationship
Must have the ability to exhibit an excellent service attitude and be willing to go out of your way to accommodate the Members
Must be flexible and able to adjust to meet any changing needs
Must have excellent communication, supervisory, time-management, teaching, and motivation skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
Must be able to tolerate pressure and work calmly and efficiently
Must be able to follow and enforce all rules, policies, and regulations
Must have a good self-image and be able to command the respect of employees while possessing a strong work ethic, sound moral judgement and high integrity
