Evergreen Laundry currently has an exciting opportunity for Machine Repair Technician / Apprentice in our Maintenance Department. This position is best suited for an energetic, highly-motivated and results-driven individual who is looking to join a solid company with thousands of employees worldwide. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine repair and preventative maintenance on Laundry processing equipment, conveyors, and our facility.
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repair as required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with Engineering, Supervisors and Outside Vendors regarding projects and repair problems.
- Ability to fabricate, weld, or machine parts as required is a plus (not required).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced; multi-tasking environment and to meet operational deadlines
- Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment
ATTITUDE REQUIREMENTS
Eagerness and willingness to learn and receive instruction/direction from qualified Technician
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
High standard of integrity and professionalism

Preferred Requirements:
Two years minimum experience with Automated equipment, Photo eyes, Electrical, test 220/240/480 circuits, must be able to work with 3 phase motor control, read schematic, troubleshoot PLC's, (Inventor). Strong Mechanics of gears, bearings, lubrication rolls, power generated motor removal to repair or refurbish. Plumbing experience is required for PM Maintenance PVC vs. copper plumbing. Will also work with dryer, angle grinder, needle scaler.
Must have own tools and steel toe safety shoes. Must be physically able to work in confined areas, work in high ares of the plant, climb ladders, and work with all climate conditions due to outside temperatures.
