Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accountant - Entry Level role within our team located in Columbus, Ohio. This role is essential to our operations as it involves reviewing complex reconciliations, performing research and analysis of various accounting data, and preparing journal entries. This position is particularly involved in the month-end closing process and plays a significant part in the equipment leasing accounting function. Responsibilities: Review and handle complex reconciliations to ensure accuracy Perform research and analysis on a variety of accounting data to aid decision-making processes Prepare and manage journal entries to maintain and update our financial records Play an active role in the month-end closing processes, ensuring timelines are met Handle accounting functions related to equipment leasing to ensure compliance with standards and regulations Communicate findings and updates to management regularly Implement quality assurance management in all accounting functions Cultivate and utilize research skills to enhance efficiency in the accounting department Review accounting functions regularly to identify and address discrepancies. Requirements Proficiency in accounting functions and principles Experience with closing processes Ability to prepare accurate journal entries Familiarity with equipment leasing Proficient in conducting research and review tasks Experience in performing reconciliations Familiarity with QA management processes Ability to work in a team and independently Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills.
