Job DescriptionThe Tax Accountant-Lead exercises control over the preparation and maintenance of tax records and information used in completing tax returns.Duties and Responsibilities:Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated tax provision and tax footnote disclosure in accordancewith ASC 740.Prepare and maintain income tax account reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Prepares the most complex tax returns and related reports and analyses.Coordinates tax audits, responds to tax auditors, and keeps senior management informed of audit status.Research tax laws and communicates conclusions to management.Implements procedures to comply with new tax laws.
