Description We are looking for an adept Accounting Clerk to join one of our clients in Columbus, Ohio. As an Accounting Clerk, you will primarily handle account reconciliation, process accounts payable, and maintain accurate records. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is ideal for a professional with strong skills in data entry, invoice processing, Microsoft Excel, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Responsibilities: Accurately process accounts payable and maintain relevant records Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting Enter financial transactions and other relevant data into our internal databases Prepare and process journal entries to record financial transactions Use Microsoft Excel to organize data and perform financial calculations Process customer invoices and handle any related inquiries Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and properly posted Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed Maintain and update financial records for accuracy and completeness Collaborate with other accounting team members to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Capability in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Proficient in Data Entry Experience with Invoice Processing Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with Bank Reconciliations Ability to handle Journal Entries Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
