Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based in Columbus, Ohio. This role will be crucial in handling all invoices received for payment, ensuring they are processed accurately, efficiently, and timely. You will be responsible for executing day-to-day financial transactions, verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data. You will also need to have a solid understanding of expense accounts and cost centers.Responsibilities: Handle the processing of all invoices received for payment in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including the verification, classification, and recording of accounts payable data Understand and manage expense accounts and cost centers Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel to manage accounting functions and check processing Attend to any discrepancies in the accounts payable process Utilize skills in data entry to ensure accurate record keeping Leverage knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) processes Familiarity with Abila MIP and Cost Centers will be beneficial Undertake any additional duties as assigned.
