Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of Business Analysis experience
Property and casualty insurance (auto, life, homeowners, or commercial lines)
Must be a self-starter with strong initiative
SQL experience (writing simple or complex queries)
Able to work effectively independently and with a team
MicroStrategy Mainframe reporting/ stat filing reports
Strong experience in eliciting, analyzing, validating, documenting, and managing requirements.
Experience in developing requirements artifacts such as use cases, user stories, requirements documents, and reports.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead a project or group.
Must be able to work on site in Columbus, OH when pandemic conditions allow.
Candidates who currently reside in Ohio, Columbus, OH; or Central Ohio are strongly preferred.
Job Description: We are hiring a Business Systems Analyst to work for us as a direct, W2 salaried or hourly employee, and the selected candidate will work on an engagement for our client. You will:
Leverage property and casualty experience and knowledge to work on projects for our client.
Serves as the liaison between the customer community and the software development team via clearly documented functional, system and process requirements.
Works with clients to obtain requirements through interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, workflow analysis and use cases.
Evaluates the information from those multiple sources to develop an understanding of the client?s business requests and needs and translates them into application and operational requirements.
