Description We are welcoming a Communication Specialist to our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be vital in managing our external communication and handling various internal administrative functions. You will be the primary liaison for our public relations efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation. This role also involves various tasks, including managing communications, supporting event coordination, and assisting with presentations and meetings. Responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact between our team and the PR firm, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and alignment with our objectives. Review content generated by the PR firm, including press releases, blog posts, and social media updates. Schedule and publish approved content across various platforms, including social media, company blog, and website, using appropriate scheduling tools. Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and engage with relevant conversations. Collaborate with the PR firm on the development and execution of PR campaigns. Oversee the creation of the annual report, including content gathering, review, and obtaining necessary approvals. Monitor incoming company emails and delegate responses to appropriate internal teams. Assist in creating and formatting PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings, including board meetings. Manage the technology setup and operation during board meetings, ensuring smooth presentations and addressing any technical issues. Assist with the planning and execution of company events, including conferences, meetings, and other gatherings. Prepare and submit expense reports.
