The manager will serve as a trusted advisor, and credible source of insight on HR process, associate relations, talent, and culture. This position requires strong people leadership capabilities, understanding of the retail industry, labor laws, and HR best practices. They will serve as leader subject matter expert in areas of Associate Relations, HR programs and services, and resolving day-to-day people and HR issues.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

People leader within Tier function, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness through high volume delivery

Lead and energize, be a visible HR leader, and take an active role in advancing the overall HR ecosystem through influence, partnership, and collaboration

Lead and complete the upskilling and re-skilling of team members on strategies and solutions including the relaunch of existing HR initiatives or the introduction of new concepts

Recruit, lead and retain a team of exceptional HR professionals who will serve as the face of HR to functional teams across Bath and Body Works.

HR Strategy Implementation & Influence

Support development and execution of a human resources strategy and services that corresponds with the company’s goals to strengthen and sustain the company.

Partner with Tier leaders and HRBP teams to drive prioritization, integration, and alignment of overall BBW HR strategies

People Services Delivery

Uphold Bath and Body Works values and standards of conduct by acting as an expert in and providing oversight for associate relations strategies, complex investigations and inquiries from associates and people leaders.

Research, lead, and resolve elevated HR matters including associate inquiries, absence management, associate relations, and customer care inquiries.

Provides advice and guidance to team on associate relations, absence management and performance management.

Identify and assess trends and risk within organization to drive initiatives, policy improvements and overall culture.

Ensure policies, procedure and practices are adhered to in compliance with federal, state, and/or municipal laws

Culture, Change & Engagement

Deliver Best-in-Class HR experience to associates using effective communication through high volume interactions face-to-face, by phone and through written channels.

Support and complete HR and change initiatives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of demonstrated experience in a Human Resources function

Ability to manage and lead high volume HR teams across multiple business units, buildings and geographic markets

Experience working in a retail environment a plus, but not required

Ability to lead through change and navigate the fast pace demands of a retail environment

Expert in leading associate relations, performance management, case management, and other people strategies.

Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated ability to deescalate highly emotional situations

Knowledge and expertise in employment laws and regulation

Proficient and up to date in current HR technology, systems and analytics

Excellent critical thinking and decision making skills

Expertise providing executive coaching and counsel to senior leaders

Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
