Description We are offering an opportunity for an IS Technical Specialist: III (Senior) to join our team based in Columbus, Ohio. This role functions in the industry of information systems and technology, and involves providing technical and consultative support for complex technical matters. The position requires the ability to analyze, design, and develop systems, and to assist with the resolution of hardware or software problems in a financial environment. Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance to resolve hardware and software problems Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user requirements Maintain an in-depth knowledge of technical industry trends and utilize this knowledge in system development and support Assist with identifying training needs and provide training for less experienced staff Serve as project leader for specific projects when required Perform production support tasks, including on-call rotation and occasional weekend support Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues Maintain a strong focus on customer service and work well with other IT vendor and business groups Balance both development and support roles within the team Utilize Microsoft Office experience in daily operations and communication Process and handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) files and EDI file processing using Connexion application Work independently in a multi-platform environment. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service Proven experience in Training Strong skills in Workstation Support Ability to Troubleshoot technical issues Experience in performing Ad Hoc Financial tasks Excellent Communication Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites Strong Interpersonal Skills Knowledge of Computer Hardware Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) Understanding of Segmentation principles Proven ability to provide Technical Assistance Experience in Production Support Familiarity with Mainframe Application Ability to troubleshoot Software Problems Experience with Multi-Platform environments Knowledge of EDI File operations Experience with ChangeMan AMF Familiarity with EO/IR systems.
