Description We are seeking an IS Technical Specialist: III (Senior) to join our team based in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be developing modern REST API’s, assisting with system design, software delivery, and working on Kafka. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Develop modern REST API’s using Java Spring Boot CICD Cloud enabled services Container both on-prem and in the cloud Assist with system design including server layout, availability, disaster recovery planning, and production deployments Aid with software and data design including database schema, storage considerations, data mapping, and API design Contribute to software delivery in an advisory or architectural role, creating server architecture, table layouts, and highly performant data sources Work on Kafka, analyzing proper use cases and detailed Kafka environment setup considerations Collaborate with other engineers and architects to create a common API layer between various data sources and applications Develop software in an agile environment leveraging DevOps for environment setup, automated builds, continuous deployment, and automated testing Implement enterprise services and APIs under the guidance of the architectural team and engineering leadership Deliver rapid, scalable, and quality solutions that meet the business needs Maintain and evolve existing integration assets and systems Requirements Proven experience in a similar role as an IS Technical Specialist or Senior IT role Proficient in Java, Agile, GitHub, and Spring Framework Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies, Database Design, and REST API Experience in implementing and managing IT projects Excellent customer service skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and practices Ability to plan, manage and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines Solid understanding of computer sciences and software engineering principles Proficiency in business analysis and quality assurance Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically Knowledge of storage systems and architecture Ability to create and implement effective IT production and implementation strategies Strong commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements. Monitoring and Reporting: Assist with monitoring and assessing the organization\'s compliance with ethics standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present reports on compliance activities and identified risks to senior management. Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and investigations. Investigation and Resolution: Assist in conducting initial investigations into allegations of unethical conduct, gathering and analyzing relevant information. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in business, Law, Ethics, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in compliance, ethics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with compliance monitoring and investigations is preferred. HCCA or SCCE Certification preferred. Skills and Knowledge: Full understanding and application of compliance principles, theories, and concepts. Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve moderately complex issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Problem-Solving: Ability to provide resolutions to a variety of problems within defined practices and procedures. Demonstrated judgment and decision-making skills in handling projects with short-term focus. Other Requirements: Ability to work under moderate guidance and supervision. Familiarity with relevant compliance and regulatory frameworks is an asset.
