ADB Safegate Americas, LLC seeks Lead Technical Support in Columbus, OHand.nbsp;Duties: Provide Level 2 Support on all FAA and ICAO products to all North and South American Customers in English, Spanish, and Portuguese over phone and written correspondence. Track and manage unresolved equipment issues for customers, driving towards resolution. Meet all company and equipment related safety requirements. Ensure proper and accurate filing of service reports. Authorize warranty repairs, solicit customer purchase orders for non-warranty repairs and inform customers of installation issues which need to be rectified for proper operation of the product in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Maintain high level technical knowledge of new and existing products. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality, Material Handling, Other Cell Leaders .and.amp; Management on Repair topics. Provide monthly repair parts forecast to Purchasing and Operations. Ensure that all customer property that is returned for repair is not lost and is handled correctly. Enter Engineering Change Requests for products based off issues being seen in the repair cell. Ensure that repaired product gets invoiced accurately and timely. Identify issues and concerns on measures proactively and develop recovery plans where necessary. Provide input for estimating the resources and schedule requirements needed to achieve project tasks. Provide support for the preparation of technical written submitted packages for custom projects in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Support design team to produce custom drawing packages for each project. Support design activities including electrical wiring, mechanical designs and review. Contribute to future sales potential by ensuring satisfaction of present customers and generating sales leads to the Regional Sales Managers. Establish processes to efficiently and effectively meet defined minimum support levels as well as ensure a quick turnaround of in-house repairs based upon departmental objectives. Partners with Engineering Services Manager to establish tactical and strategic metrics to regularly monitor and adjust performance. Proactively lead and develop service teams' technical capabilities. Recruit, retain, and coach Service Team members to ensure the proper competencies are available to meet company goals. Establish an effective work plan which provides prompt customer service and ensure that contractual requirements and commitments are met. Develop plans and schedules to gain full qualification of in-house and agents/representatives to support customer requirements. Identify and define training requirements for in-house personnel. Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and workload balancing. Track, record, and analyze warranty and non-warranty service hours, ensuring performance is in line with company goals. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve department and company goals. Estimate the material and product needed to achieve department and company goals. Work with the Technical Services Manager to accurately prepare and organize budgets for review with management. Travel to airport installation projects across North and South America as required for project support, personnel performance evaluation or technical supportand.nbsp;Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related plus 2 years of experience as a field technician or a related job within the airfield lighting industry. Employer will accept an Associate's Degree or related Training Program Certificate from a college or university plus at least 3 years of related work experience as an alternative to the bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience. Requires at least 2 years of experience in the following skills: demonstrated knowledge of FAA policies and ICAO installation best practices, demonstrated knowledge of airfield lighting product offerings, designing electrical wiring diagrams and 1-line diagrams,
