Job Title: Revit TechnicianJob DescriptionThe CAD Technician is responsible for the creation of proposal, permit, and construction documents for civil, structural, architectural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical building systems. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret sketches and scopes of work to develop drawings used for bidding and construction. This position requires coordination with the design team, outside consultants, vendors, construction management personnel, and field supervisors. The Technician must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion of each project deliverable. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring responsiveness, resourcefulness, and the ability to adapt quickly.Responsibilities

Create drawing documents for use in estimation, proposals, and field construction for civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Ensure quality control of information provided by and to designers and engineers.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years of postgraduate, full-time professional work experience in building design/modeling.

Proficiency in Revit, including familiarity with terms such as families, components, schedules, work sets, linked models, and view templates.

Experience in creating or working with elevations, floor plans, and wall sections.

Growth mindset and positive attitude, with the ability to take instruction and initiative.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Bluebeam.

Any MEP or Civil experience.

Bachelor of Architecture or another accredited degree with at least 1 year of experience (internships included).

Work EnvironmentOur Client is located in an office-type environment with cubicles, closely working with other engineers and team members. There is some work-from-home flexibility as needed, but this is a full-time position in the office. The team currently consists of 9 people, including the President/Architect, 3 Designers (mostly architectural focus), 2 Project Managers, an Architect, and 1 Civil Engineer, with 2 other engineers on call/part-time.
