Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond?Summary:The Working Lead, Gage Standards perform duties for Columbus Forge Gage Standards (GS). The Working Lead, Gage Standards is a subject matter expert for a variety of GS activities such as layout & calibration, direct daily activities for team, coordinate onsite & offsite vendor calibration of gages & equipment. This role is a 4x10 schedule for 1st shift Monday through Thursday. Key Responsibilities:

Administer PW policies & procedures to ensure compliance & equitable treatment for all employees; manage aspects of assigned workforce; coach employees to develop a motivated effective, flexible cross-trained, responsive teamworking team.

Develop forecasts of GS throughput, capabilities, and risks; ensure productivity & quality of work of GS personnel is maximized.

Review leveling requests to ensure requestor is properly trained; create/maintain various reports to track progress to goals; identify & lead continuous improvement events within GS.

Define & document standard work for GS activities.

Be able to fill-in for other GS teammates.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of related experience or an Associate's degree or other two-year equivalent post high school training with 2 or more years of related experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

Manufacturing experience or quality technical training

Experience researching & implementing new calibration technologies

Calibration GS or metrology experience

Experience with CMM or other measurement systems

Physical & digital layout experience

Solid Works NX CAD system or similar experience

Additional Information:

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
