Barrel & Boar began as Yohos Catering in 1983, founded by Art Yoho after his father began distributing the first Southern Pride smokers in Ohio. Yohos became one of the first commercial BBQ restaurant and caterers in Columbus. The Yohos developed a passion for smoked meats becoming well known for smoking brisket and locally raised whole pigs. The restaurant was located on Westerville Rd. in the old Dog and Suds building the family ran in the 60s and 70s.

Barrel & Boar at the North Market in Columbus, OH is looking for one food service manager to join our team. We are located on 59 S. Spruce St Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working. Health insurance provided.ResponsibilitiesTrain employees and monitor operations to ensure customers expectations are exceeded Manage employees to provide exceptional food quality in a timely and cost effective method Manage vendor services to maintain appropriate quantities and quality of product Budget and monitor inventory, labor and restaurant costs to improve overall profitability Implement health and safety protocols Prepare and create menu items and specials. Drive catering sales Handle online ordering and delivery schedules. QualificationsUnderstanding of smoking meats and BBQ Technology Savvy Toast POS experience a must. Experience working in related field High School Diploma or equivalent Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize Able to manage and lead a team to success We are looking forward to receiving your application.
