I am a general contractor who specializes in small residential projects in the Columbus and surrounding area. I am looking for someone who has construction experience and has good communication skills. The job isn't hard and doesn't require special tools or skills, experience and a willingness to learn is a must. I'm looking for someone who is able to do physical labor if needed. We do our own excavating and grading. A license and vehicle to get to work is a requirement and a clean driving record to drive the company trucks and equipment is a requirement as well. We have a medium size dump truck, so if you have experience driving larger vehicles that would be a plus. I am looking for a person with driving experience and skills and can drive trucks and pull trailers on a regular basis. We work 5 days a week and start at 7:30am with weekends off for family.
The position is one to support the contractors that are working on projects and to keep an eye on jobs and communicate the stages of each. There is labor work involved as there are many different tasks performed so I need someone who is willing and able to do physical work at times.
I am looking for someone to commit to full time work for my company. The pay is based on experience and starts at around $18-20/hr with the possibility of more for the right person.
