EMH&T is seeking a Landscaper to join our Landscape Crew based in Columbus, OH. The Landscape Crew Member works under the direction of the Restoration Crew Chief. Much of the work will involve planting trees and shrubs, applying herbicide to control invasive species, wetland seeding, and conservation easement sign installation.
Qualifications
On the job training is provided. Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job. Must have a good driving record and reliable transportation to work.

Essential Functions
This position will be physically demanding and the work environment may be challenging. The following outlines the physical demands and work environment required of this position.
Ability to work independently once provided sufficient direction.
Ability to operate and maintain hand tools and small power tools.
Ability to pull heavy landscaping sleds weighing up to 70 lbs.
Ability to accept constructive criticism to improve performance.
The ability to work in all weather conditions and physically demanding conditions during all seasons.
Works well with others in a collaborative and positive manner.
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form.
Ability to install plant materials with hand tools or with a machine.
The ability to walk for extended periods of time and the ability to maneuver over rough terrain, ditches, steep stream banks and uneven ground safely.
Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. of equipment/materials while walking across uneven terrain.
Intermittent squatting, leaning, twisting and bending.
All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen, fit to work evaluation, and background check and are subject to quarterly random drug testing.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. EMH&T currently does not sponsor work visas.
