Some management experience required. Experience relating to manufacturing preferred. Assistant production manager reports directly to the production manager and operations manager. Good attendance is paramount, applicant must be able to pass a drug test.
Company operating hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00a-5:30p
Job duties include but are not limited to-
-Assisting the Production Manager
-Assisting in plating and powder coating production
-Light chemical analysis on production lines (training provided)
-Managing a small inventory of process chemicals for daily use.
-Moving customer work throughout the building
-Start up and shut down of operations daily.
-Ensuring production stays moving
Skills Required-
-Ability to stand for long periods
-Must be able to lift at least 50 Lbs
-Must be able to utilize P.P.E.
-Some familiarity with Microsoft, Computer skills.
-Must be able to operate a forklift
-Sense of urgency for completing projects.
