Job Description:
Responsible for day-to-day laser operations, including machine set up & shut-down, inputting cutting parameters, measuring and verifying tolerances, picking and staging feedstock, breaking down bulk bundles for customer orders, packaging of material, operating sit-down or side-loader forklifts, completing paperwork & SAP work orders for shipping & receiving, as well as additional duties passed down by management.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience operating Flat and/or Tube Laser Machines, Basic Computer Skills, an ability to Read Blueprints, Stand for long periods of time & Lift up to 40lbs. Must also be able to pass a Skills-Based Evaluation of Basic Math, Reading, Inspection, Measurement & Problem-Solving skills, as well as a Physical Evaluation of Vision, Hearing & Mobility. Experience w/ Machines made by Mazak, TRUMPF, Bystronic, LVD, Coherent or True Laser is a PLUS, but not necessary.
Shifts:
1st: 4am to 2:30pm, Mon - Thurs OR 6am to 2:30pm, Mon - Fri
2nd: 2:30pm to 1am, Mon - Thurs
3rd: 10pm to 8:30am, Mon - Thurs
Weekend: 6am to 6:30pm, Fri, Sat & Sun (paid for 40 hours)
Pay Rates:
1st: $24.70 - $29 Per Hour
2nd: $24.70 - $29 Per Hour + $1.50 Shift Differential = $30.50 Per Hour Max
3rd: $24.70 - $29 Per Hour + $1.00 Shift Differential = $30 Per Hour Max
Weekend: $24.70 - $29 Per Hour
(Note: Starting wage will depend on experience & results of skills assessment)
