Job Description:
Responsible for day-to-day MIG (& TIG) welding operations of various metals, such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, reading & interpreting blueprints, schematics & work orders provided by customers, precise measurement of material that satisfy customer requirements, marking & positioning pieces to be welded into jigs & fixtures using hand tools, operating sit-down or side-loader forklifts & overhead cranes, as well as any additional duties passed down by management.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in MIG Welding Operations (TIG is also preferred), Basic Computer Skills, an ability to Read Blueprints & Lift up to 40lbs. Must also pass a Skills-Based Evaluation of Basic Math, Reading, Inspection, Measurement & Problem-Solving skills, as well as a Physical Evaluation of Vision, Hearing & Mobility.
(Note: Robotic Welding experience is also highly-preferred, but not required. Candidates with this type of experience will be eligible to receive a higher starting wage)
Shifts:
1st: 4am to 2:30pm, Mon - Thurs OR 6am to 2:30pm, Mon - Fri
2nd: 2:30pm to 1am, Mon - Thurs
3rd: 10pm to 8:30am, Mon - Thurs
Pay Rates:
1st: $22 - $26 Per Hour
2nd: $22 - $26 Per Hour + $1.50 Shift Differential = $27.50 Per Hour Max
3rd: $22 - $26 Per Hour + $1.00 Shift Differential = $27 Per Hour Max
(Note: Starting wage will depend on level of experience AND results of skills assessment)
