The Apartment Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, refrigerators, stoves, and other building systems.
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors
Knowledge of general plumbing repair
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of related experience preferred
HVAC Certification is a plus but not required
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Must have or be able to obtain your own tools
Starting at 18 an hour based on experience
