Applicants that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a talented Full Stack Software Developer to support programs focusing on optimization of satellite scheduling for missile detection. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Python, thrive as part of a rapidly paced, collaborative, small-team environment consisting of Scientists, Engineers, and Developers, and be able to prototype, develop, integrate, and test advanced software solutions. Responsibilities:

Work independently and with a team to develop additional software features to satisfy contract requirements

Assist in containerization, testing, and deployment of software for delivery to customers

Participate in agile software development including design, implementation and deployment

Collaborate with other developers to integrate and provide documentation of features into existing and new projects

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in computer science of relevant technical field

U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance

2+ years professional software engineering experience

Familiarity with microservice architectures

Experience with RESTful web services

Strong proficiency with with server-side languages, preference toward Golang, NodeJS, and/or Python

Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks, preference toward Angular, React, and/or Vue

Experience with version control software (ex Git)

Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA

Commitment to quality in code and software engineering practices

The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Ability to communicate technical details of work

Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project

Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills

Detail oriented

Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred

Experience with Kubernetes / HELM

Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins

Experience with Docker (containerized deployment)

Experience utilizing NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB

Current Secret Security Clearance or higher

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $102,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
