DescriptionAccountemps is actively seeking a long-term temporary-to-full-time Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an integral part of a high performing team at a growing company in the Service industry. Matching, batching, and coding invoices, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. Located in Mason, Ohio, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term temporary-to-full-time opening.Accounts Payable Key responsibilities:
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Provide support to internal business partners
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Help with internal and external audits as required
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Conduct full-cycle A/P

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Deep understanding of data entry
SAP experience preferred
Expertise in numeric data entry
Adeptness in customer service
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Detailed and have the ability work independently
