JR114049 Sr. Process Improvement EngineerResponsible for identifying, planning, and executing process improvement projects to increase the quality and performance of a business unit.Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office) and must live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.How will you make an impact:

Provides process improvement methodology expertise to associates and team members across the organization.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams in the identification, research, and implementation of process improvements.

Plans and executes testing to ensure standard processes, policies, guidelines and templates are being utilized and are up to date.

Meets with varying levels of management, from stakeholders to clinic staff, to understand and document current and future state needs.

Conducts root cause analysis, process/value stream mapping, and the creation of standard work documents.

Manages internal and external process improvement projects with team members who work across regional and enterprise-wide organizational structures and with external parties (providers and trade organizations) to formulate consensus on improvements and to implement internal and external standards, systems, policies, and procedures.

Minimum requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years process improvement or project management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred.

Experience with project management software (Smartsheet, Microsoft project, etc.) strongly preferred.

Prior experience with process mapping and associated software (Visio) strongly preferred.

EHR experience (NextGen, EPIC, etc.) preferred.
