You’ll work closely with and report to Program Managers & Senior Program Managers responsible for a portfolio of material handling projects ranging in size and complexity. This position is responsible for successfully managing all aspects of cost, schedule, and performance for their assigned programs. Key Responsibilities
Traveling 25% to customer distribution facilities throughout the US.
Serve as primary customer contact for program activities to support and lead program execution, lead program reviews and report on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Responsible for understanding and interpreting customer requirements to work in partnership with customers towards derived solutions and leveraging existing solutions.
Ability to facilitate and lead/transition projects through all phases of the project life cycle.
Participate in the preparation and evaluation of proposals, bid/no-bid decisions, business plans, Statements of Work (SOW), specifications, budgets and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
Participates in negotiations of contracts and contracts change management.
Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules.
Identifies program problems and risks and obtains solutions such as resource allocation and contract specification changes.
Manage and evaluate financial and technical trade-off analyses required for scope changes in a program.
Responsible for the direction, oversight, and outcome of all assigned programs.
YOU MUST HAVE
4+ years of project management or engineering experience
Ability to travel up throughout the US, up to 25%.
Associate’s degree.
Effective Project Management and execution skills.
Experience working in a matrixed project organization.
WE VALUE
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or other related discipline.
PMP certification.
Onsite construction experience
Supply chain management experience.
Material Handling industry automation or adjacent industry automation experience.
Expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, Access and SharePoint.
Knowledge of IT and financial systems preferred (Sales Force, SAP, etc.).
Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities
