This position will work Monday-Friday 1:00PM to 9:00PM.Activities and duties may vary dependent upon site specific needs. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to: Schedule Shipment arrangements in the most efficient and economical manner.Communicate in a professional manner with all business units both internal and external.Move material to/from raw, WIP, Finished, Shipping, Receiving, and manufacturing areas. Unload/load trucks/tankers with incoming/outgoing materials. - Verify materials against receiving/shipping documents. Complete appropriate transactions to document the movement of material within the Inventory Management System.Support inventory accuracy:Complete/Support warehouse and departmental cycles counts and correct discrepanciesRaw/Finishing warehouse:Pick up and transfer material racks, pallets, and other consumable supplies to/from production areas as required.Condense warehouse space and maintain good housekeepingPerform all assignments, duties, and tasks in a safe manner following standard procedures and practices. Encourage others to do so. Correct and/or report all unsafe conditions immediately. Perform duties to continuously improve quality and productivity.Maintain a safe, clean work area. Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed. Communicate and coordinate necessary information to appropriate department/shift employees to ensure effective operations. Lead in the recycling of pallets, cardboard, and scrap materials. Support all 5S housekeeping activities.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
