As a Senior Oracle Developer here at STERIS, you will play a pivotal role in supporting, enhancing and the implementation of Oracle Applications with a focus on EDI. You\'ll collaborate closely with our dedicated teams to ensure seamless support, maintenance and implementation of development request and projects. This is role is considered Hybrid, with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Headquarters 3 days per week. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting EDI and the corresponding Oracle Modules. Development of new EDI maps, reports, alerts, interfaces and data conversion programs. Do performance tuning of programs, screens and other objects when performance issues are reported Analyze trading partners specifications and building technical documents as per the requirements. Work with business users to test programs in Development and Quality. Write technical documentation and user manuals Work with DBA, System Administration teams to migrate programs to Quality and Production Work with Business Process Owners to investigate new functionality in Oracle applications Work on Oracle Application upgrades When or if working on a FDA validated system, participate in the validation process. What experience, skills, and abilities will you need? Your expertise as an Oracle Applications Developer coupled with a strong understanding of EDI and its related standards will be key to being successful in this role.
