  • Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Perform maintenance, mowing, and cleaning service in the public areas and operational areas of lake projects. The Muskingum River sub-basin is the largest single drainage system in Ohio at 8,095 square miles. Responsibilities Perform grounds keeping including mowing and cleaning services of public use areas and operational areas. Perform flood cleanup operations at the reservoir to include cutting, stacking, and burning of flood debris and driftwood. Read and record data pertaining to weather conditions, reservoir pool and stream elevations and reports data to higher graded employee. Operate a variety of tools, machinery and equipment in association with grounds keeping, mowing, cleaning, and maintenance activities. Perform various tasks in connection with connection with construction, alteration, maintenance, and repair of buildings, structures, roads, grounds, utilities, and other facilities related to the operation and maintenance of the reservoir area.
