The Supply Planning Analyst role reports to the Sr. Analyst and is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data across centrally managed raw materials. This data is used to ensure sufficient and successful inventory levels are maintained to support the NA facilities. This role emphasizes building strong supplier relationships through regular communication and actively participates in identifying and mitigating potential risks across the network.Key Responsibilities:  Ensure the effectiveness of the following processes:  Strategic supplier inventory management (“Stock Health”) - Monitoring, Analysis, Distribution and ImprovementProactively lead supplier meetings by preparing comprehensive talking points, identifying and communicating inventory risks, facilitating discussions on improvement opportunities, and thoroughly reviewing supplier data sources  Execute strategic supplier forecasting by actively participating in new product introductions and transitions, analyzing market trends, and ensuring demand forecasts accurately reflect consumption patterns.Collaborating with Product Management / R&D / Coating Sites / Procurement on supplier transition management, forecasts, and communicationManage supplier High Impact Stockout process by executing internal distribution, overseeing relevant spreadsheets, and facilitating consistent communication with stakeholdersMaintain visibility of supply issues and communicate risk to the business  Proactively support raw material buyers and coating sites by fostering open communication, actively addressing questions and concerns, and coordinating weekly touchpoints Skills & Competencies:Analytical Skills:Ability to download Avery Information from multiple systems  Advanced skills taking and sourcing large amounts of data and distilling into meaningful solutions Works with quantitative analysis and models for decision making and problem solving  Can evaluate multiple variables to arrive at the optimum solution  Able to utilize lean and six sigma tools    Effective Team Member:Works effectively with a wide number of other functional areas within all levels of management and employeesAbility to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirementsAble to build commitment to common goals and ensure priorities and goals among planning and operation groups are interrelatedCommunication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills   Ability to construct persuasive arguments to support a proposal/idea and to build support   Proficient in facilitating, presenting, and leading meetings with diverse audiences, including internal stakeholders at all levels and external partners.Initiative/Innovativeness  Proven ability to deliver results; demonstrated history of success  Takes initiative to complete projects and achieve objectivesDemonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to take calculated risks Pushes for continuous improvement in performance in all areas
