The Foundational Services Core Cloud Services team develops and operates Cloud native services in the domain areas of Identify and Access, Entitlement and Provisioning, Usage and Monetization, and Application Experience that power Siemens’ industrial software ecosystem’s transformation to SaaS-delivered and Cloud-enabled products.A successful candidate will bring deep technical and software expertise, as well as strong business acumen and customer obsession. Additionally, they have the ability to define best-in-class Cloud foundational services based on customer needs, the desire to have an industry wide impact and ability to work within a fast moving, startup environment in a large company. This opportunity requires excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Candidates should have experience defining products, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional specifications and user stories, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets; as well as analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection. The Product Management role is a broad one. We need business owners who can scale in perspective from strategic vision development with direct interaction with the senior leadership team to tactical product development and sales execution.Siemens Product Managers are leaders who move quickly, with a focused determination to get things done, breaking down complex problems to make data-driven decisions that best serve customers. They are responsible for building business and pricing models, identifying bold moves to grow the business in current and adjacent markets, representing products to customers and executive leadership, and are the overall business owner of the product. We function as a single team working together to deliver customer success.Prerequisites and Essential FunctionsJob Responsibilities include:

Successful PMs will work with clients to identify unmet needs and will work with engineering to define creative solutions that deliver an excellent customer experience

Define product strategy, get buy in from relevant stakeholders and work with the team to prioritize work to deliver upon that strategy

Collaborate with partner teams to define deliverables, roadmaps, and accompanying documentation for projects and programs

Anticipate bottlenecks, identify opportunities, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business and user needs versus technical constraints

Clearly and effectively communicate with technical owners, product managers, and upper management

Drive enablement and adoption of Core Cloud services, aligned with client objectives and organizational goals, creating and delivering appropriate material

Drive process and tooling improvements to increase visibility, throughput and output quality

Maximize business benefit while identifying interdependencies between concurrent projects to prevent downstream problems

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (MBA is a strong plus)

3+ years of relevant work experience in Technical Product Management

10+ years of overall software industry experience

Experience with an agile development context

Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules

Superior verbal and written communications skills with high attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications

Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills

Analytical acumen, and comfort generating and evaluating various forecasts, metrics, and analyses.

Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new features sets

Ability to proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues that sometimes cross departmental boundaries

Excellent time management, resource management and planning skills

Ability to interface with internal and external customers of varying technical abilities

It is highly desirable that the candidate possess one or more of the following

Software Development Life Cycle experience

Design thinking and business modelling experience

Broad technical breadth and depth including web services and back-end application infrastructure

The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
