Electronic Technician - Level 3

As a Technician-Electronic-Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex technical tasks in the field of electronic assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our electronic products. Your expertise in electronic assembly and testing will be crucial in meeting customer requirements and maintaining high standards of product performance.You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Urbana, OH location.In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our electronic manufacturing processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our assembly and testing procedures, driving innovation and excellence in electronic manufacturing.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary role will be to Lead the new Automated X-ray Inspection equipment development through mass production startup.

This position will be responsible for initial programming of the AXI to inspect all CCA’s.

As programs are developed and released for mass production use, this role will also be responsible for MWI creation and training of associates.

Secondary role as time permits will be to perform electronic assembly, testing, and troubleshooting tasks according to established procedures and specifications.

Perform troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems and equipment.

Conduct tests and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Maintain accurate documentation of assembly and testing processes, including test results and product specifications.

High computer literacy and willingness to work OT (50+ hours/week)

Strong CCA experience

3+ years of experience in electric assembly and testing

Ability to work with little supervision

Strong knowledge of electronic components and circuits

Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment and tools
