Operations Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Operations Specialist at our state-of-the-art facility in West Chester, Ohio. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our supply chain operations, establishing robust procurement strategies, and managing inventory levels to meet the demands of our expanding business in the biopharmaceutical industry.Responsibilities: Design procurement strategies that align with our growth objectives and budgetary limitations. Establish and maintain relationships with crucial suppliers, negotiate favorable purchase contract terms, and manage the entire purchasing process from requisition to item receipt and storage. Monitor market trends and perform supplier evaluations to ensure quality, cost-effective sourcing. Maintain documentation related to vendor pricing and certification. Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes to maintain optimal stock levels. Implement inventory control procedures to minimize excess stock, reduce waste, and ensure accuracy. Manage warehouse safety protocols to protect employees and minimize risk and exposure. Optimize warehouse layout to improve inventory flow for item receipts, returns, and storage. Implement warehouse controls to safeguard inventory assets. Use NetSuite to track and analyze inventory metrics and make data-driven decisions. Streamline supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business goals. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions to maintain continuous operations. Develop and manage the procurement and inventory budget, ensuring alignment with financial objectives. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement and inventory management. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to achieve financial efficiency. Work collaboratively with the Finance Team to align objectives and processes. Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required for streamlined financial operations. Mastery of CRM is essential for managing customer interactions and data. Expertise in Data Processing is crucial for handling large volumes of information efficiently. Familiarity with Epic Software is necessary for seamless healthcare operations. Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required for integrated management of main business processes. Knowledge of About Time software is necessary for efficient time and project management. Auditing skills are crucial for ensuring compliance and accuracy in company operations. Check Processing skills are required for efficient financial transactions. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients. Compliance knowledge is essential for adhering to legal standards and company policies.
