As part of that, you’ll sit side-by-side with clients and diverse teams from EY to create a well-rounded approach to advising and solving challenging problems (some that have not been solved before). You will run multiple client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to help them navigate the complex world of advanced analytics. We’ll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how advanced analytics can transform and improve their entire organization — starting with the key business issues they face.Skills and attributes for success

Fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Playing an active role in the counselling and mentoring of junior consultants within the organization.

Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships and networks.

Partnering with information architecture to build logical/canonical and physical data models aligned with conceptual data models

Working with product teams to define data sources by partnering with information and enterprise architecture.

Working with product teams to define Key Performance Indicators and supporting data attributes and business rules

Working with product teams to ensure data meets business requirements

Analyzing existing data stores and interfaces to support current state and future data models

Working with squads to create physical data designs and business rule implementation

Partnering with enterprise data management and strategy on business glossary implementation and governance and stewardship

Working with report developers to align dataset design with report design

Partnering with information architecture to provide feedback on conceptual models and review logical and physical data models

Facilitating data requirements elicitation and modeling sessions including use of interview, document analysis, workshops etc.

Assisting with the development and enforcement of data modeling standards

Participating in data definition and data management reviews

Establishing and maintain processes to support and grow data modeling practices

To qualify for the role you must have

A bachelor's degree and approximately five years of related work experience; or a graduate degree in the same and approximately four years of related work experience.

A minimum of four years’ experience providing consulting services with a strategic focus in helping clients achieve transformational value by improving performance through the use of data and analytics solutions.

A deep understanding of business processes and a minimum of four years’ experience using data and analytics to solve real-world business problems.

A minimum of four years' experience in Data Modelling, Data Architecture, and design

Advanced SQL skills and deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. Basic understanding of RDF ontologies, graph databases and SPARQL Experience using data modelling tools, understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling concepts and data governance.

Knowledge of data architecture, database structure, and modelling tools (ex.: LucidChart, Gliffy, CA Erwin, Oracle SQL Developer etc.) Experience using the Unified Modelling Language (UML) to model and describe systems.

Knowledge of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes

Programming experience with Python, Java and REST APIs. Experience with developer tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Swagger and Postman.

A willingness to travel to meet client needs. A valid driver’s license in the US

Ideally, you’ll also have

Master’s degree or MBA preferred

Bachelors degree focus in in Computer Science, Operations Research, Math, Statistics, Economics or Industrial Engineering

Experience with big data platforms and cloud (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, etc)

Experience with data and systems architecture (APIs, messaging, etc.)

Experience with master data management and data governance

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $116,200 to $213,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $139,400 to $242,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
